Please note: Extensive work is planned from October 1st to April 15th, including the construction of the swimming pool and the installation of the elevator. Roan and Marcel welcome you.

We are Roan and Marcel and we have been together since 1998. In 2022 we decided to leave the Netherlands and go to the South of France to start a new adventure there, at the foot of the Pyrenees between Biarritz and Pau, in Arbérats-Sillègue. (In December 2024 we were on the Dutch public broadcaster in a program about people who leave for abroad.) In 2023 we started the renovation of the Château d'Arbérats and from the spring of 2025 we will receive guests. Much is already ready, but please note that there are also parts that are not yet ready. Of course, this does not apply to the rooms and bathrooms. In the château we want our guests to enjoy life in a friendly atmosphere, by leaving the worries of everyday life behind and thus gaining new energy. We also still enjoy what the region has to offer every day and we would like to share this with our guests.
